A little about me

I’m a self taught artist focused on painting and ceramics. Inspired by Korean design and aesthetic, I reimagine the traditional colors and patterns into my work, blending them with aspects of western modernity to ultimately serve as a visual language to return to my culture. Through my paintings and ceramics, I hope to share the power of reclaiming the things we’ve lost by transforming them into new tangible forms as a reinvention and celebration of self. After years in Washington, DC working in public service, I moved to Minneapolis, where I’m looking to pursue my creative passions more fully and work toward a life that aligns with my values.
